I started modeling when I was 15, I was scouted at a nightclub by an agency. As for fitness as I mentioned, I’ve been a nut my whole life ;)

It’s very hard to keep my personal feelings aside when it comes to my business. My business is personal. I’ve grown thicker skin and learned over the years to maneuver through negative people and road blocks along the way.

How do you balance your personal life and career?
It’s hard. Although, I do love what I do, so I don’t really classify work as work. I make dates with my boyfriend and set aside me time.

It’s funny I never knew what I wanted to be as a kid. I always looked up to both my parents; my Dad, who is a very successful businessman and my Mom who is a Teacher, the biggest nurturer of all. I’m very passionate about what I do, I love challenges and most of all I like making things better.

What sorts of changes are occurring in your field?
Health & fitness is a very common phrase, I think people know the just of the basics, however it is very controversial and everyone has their opinion. There are literally millions of new diet and workout trends and fads on the market, what’s good today is gone tomorrow. Our food has changed, how it is being grown, marketed, processed, fried etc. and portion sizes are still growing. Woman, especially are expected to look supermodel skinny, while managing work and family and whatever else, meanwhile trying to keep up with people like the Kardashians.

What would you do differently if granted the opportunity in your career?
I think everything has played out in my life exactly the way it was supposed to happen. I honestly don’t think I would change a thing. I don’t wish to be any younger or go back to my early 20s, those days are what made me who I am today. I’m constantly changing as the world does and growing into everything very organically.

What’s in store the next 5-10 years?
More growth and expansion within the health and wellness industry, there are so many possibilities and opportunities, things are changing so fast, it would be hard to gage where I’ll end up, I do have a few plans TBA at a later date. I do know one thing is for sure, I can’t wait to have a family.
